Welcome

I'm so glad you've found your way here!  As a mother of two and a passionate advocate for children and youth mental health, I understand how important it is for children to feel heard, safe and supported.

My goal is to create a warm, compassionate space where clients can express themselves freely and work through their challenges in a way that feels comfortable and empowering.

Imagine a life where your child feels more empowered to express themselves, manage stress, and develop healthy coping skills. With support, your family can create lasting positive change and find a sense of balance, peace, and connection. I’m here to listen, support, and guide you on this journey, every step of the way.

Hello - I'm Sari

MSW, RSW University of Toronto: Child & Family Specialization

Sari Meyerson is a child and youth therapist.

With nearly 20 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families, I'm dedicated to providing you with compassionate and holistic clinical care.  I have worked in a variety of settings, including over 10 years in the public education system. I help students manage academic stress, bullying, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.

I have also worked extensively with individuals affected by separation, divorce, trauma and loss, including survivors of domestic violence and childhood sexual abuse, guiding them through their healing journey to reclaim stability and control.

Meaningful connection, collaboration, and compassion are key for the healing process. I provide child-centered therapy for clients ages 7 and up, with specialized training in play-based interventions to support emotional growth and healing.

I'm also passionate about working with teens, young adults and parents, to build coping skills, and improve quality of life.

I use an integrative approach to therapy, blending a variety of evidence-based practices:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Expressive Arts

  • Trauma-Informed Care

I believe that every individual is the expert of their own life, and with the right support and tools, everyone has the capacity to heal and grow.

I am committed to creating a safe, empowering therapeutic space where you feel heard, supported, and equipped to navigate your emotional journey, build resilience, and develop lasting coping strategies.
